It does get deep, as they found out and there is a bit of a current.
The great rock and pebble collection...more on that later. The girls are working on a project of rock tumbling. They will be creating a page on that this weekend when it rains.

The children and I enjoyed a little cooling off in the river today. It was wonderful. We have an extra family member (Tat) from Florida visiting for a few weeks. These are the kind of memories children should remember. What did you do on your summer vacation????
