After the wind and rain!!!

We have had a few days of rain and high winds. When you live on a farm that means lots of work. First when the horses are in the barn that means you have to check them every few hours, muck the stall, give fresh water and hay, etc. Then when you can finally put them back out, you have a lot of stall stripping to do. Don't get me wrong this is all good work. I enjoy it, especially when we are able to work together. Chloe is a huge help and Mary, well, Mary is chasing butterflies. God is so smart, He knew exactly which children I needed in this world. Chloe to help me with all my tasks, Mary to remind us to see all the beauty that is around us (like butterflies, flowers and the flowing creek), Patrick to bring some adventure and keep my nursing skills sharp, and of course Kyle, who was the training model, he taught me how to be a mom. We miss you Kyle and can't wait to have you home for Christmas. Glory to God for the rain and sun.
