Since we moved to Georgia a little more than a year ago, I have not faithfully been to adoration. We tried when we first moved to make the hour before Mass on Friday's but that was a struggle with Patrick's nap time. A few weeks ago a new option was offerred...Praise be to God. Adoration is now being offered Thursday and Friday from 9:00 t0 4:00 can you hear me saying WooHoo? I am so excited, we have made it the last two weeks and have been able to get through the rosary and then some fairly quiet time for 15 minutes before heading out for music. This is a huge feat for us. There are only one or two other people there (who we know) so I don't feel like we are totally distracting. On Friday's before Mass there are more people because it was the only hour during the week you could adore Jesus in the Blessed sacrament. We are so happy. I am praying that father extends adoration so I can go early in the morning while everyone else is sleeping. I think hubby would make an hour then as well. I know he misses adoration time as well. To have quiet time "face time" with Jesus in the wee hours of the morning must be wonderful.
I loved this picture, Elizabeth and John the Baptist were adoring Jesus even before He was born. Oh! Mary, the Blessed Monstrance.
