A great day! Some nice father and daughter stopped by and let the girls try their kayak. Made their day. I was surprised at how they took right to it. There is a good current in the river, although it is not as stronge right here were they were swimming.
YES! the water is cold. You get acclimated but it is still pretty chilly.

the river when we first got there was quiet...then lots of passers by....it was a beautiful day.
