The governors race in Ga has been crazy. There was lots of mud slinging. I guess that's normal for politics these days. Things got so crazy that Sarah Palin jetted out to show her support for Karen Handle. Hmmm! What's up with that? Well! we all know Sarah is pro-life right. I'm beginning to question that. Why? Karen Handle admitted on her blog (
yes I read it) that she supported abortion for rape, incest and if the mother's life was in danger. How can you call yourself pro-life and support murdering innocent babies because of the circumstances they were conceived? This way of thinking was one of the reasons I left the Lutheran Church ELCA. One of the things I love about the Catholic Church is their strong pro-life belief. It is unwavering and strengthened by adversity. So the Ga Right to Life group said Handle is not pro-life...duh. They made a comment about Trig, to the effect that Palin, under Handle's belief could have terminated. So Palin got hot and came here to support Handle. Think about this, all us pro-lifers have been supporting Palin from the get-go and her she goes supporting someone who is not totally pro-life.
I just gotta ask. What's up Sarah? She keeps talking about the good ole boy network. The good ole boy network here seems to be more pro-life than she is. She was also talking about CHANGE.....not the term I want to here coming from a republican or pro-lifer. Come on Sarah, you can do better.
Fortunately, Nathan Deal won by a slim lead. It was really close. He has an excellent voting record, totally pro-life. I was unable to vote. I was 8 days late on registering. I will be able to vote in November. I hope the REAL DEAL wins.
Glory to God!
