Patrick

Patrick tries feeding fingers to Jake. We are glad to have Jake. If you read about the horse rescue in WV....well jake was there a few months back before we adopted him. Jake is a fat butterball these days and very loved.

Can you see the lipstick stain on Patrick's check? I hardly ever wear lipstick but this day I was. The temperatures here have been wonderful. This week we are expecting highs in the low 70's. Glory to God for the changing seasons. There truly is a time for everything and God has planned so beautifully.

St. Paul Fall Festival T-shirt contest

Chloe won the t-shirt design contest for the annual fall festival at Saint Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. She was surprised as it was announced at the beginning of Mass last week.
The finished product looks great on the yellow shirts.
If you want one they are $10 each. I'll be glad to get you one and bring it to Florida September 9th ish.

Cuteness

Sooo cute even Marvin couldn't resist.

Patrick was in cuteness mode this evening. He was dragging around this little dump truck and having the best time. He is such a little boy now. I love the way his hair is curling up in the side. BTW the dump truck was a Kyle toy. So this dump truck is 20 years old.....WOW!

Summertime Bloomers

I made Tat a pair of bloomers today to match Chloe's. She was delighted....so they had a bloomin good time running outside in their bloomers. Something my girls have always enjoyed is homemade bloomers and nightgowns. Almost as much as I enjoy sewing them.

Glory to God for little girls and summer evenings with good friends.
What you want us to run barefoot in the grass...."like-OK"

Glory to God for big oak trees to shade us from the summer sun.
Glory to God for strong legs that we can run like the wind.
Glory to God for our home with a great big porch.
Love this sweet friend picture......I see frames being made for this one.

Glory to God for my husband who mowed the front lawn this morning. We love to run barefoot in fresh mowed grass. It smells so sweet. Glory to God for fresh mowed grass.
Mary and Marvin...this girl just knows how to have fun.
Glory to God for good dogs and daughters.

There's gems in them there mountains....

Friday July 17th we could be found at Duke's Creek Gem Mining. Prospectors from far and near, both young and old came in hopes of finding gold and precious gems. I spoke with a few who were hoping for a big find to feed there families during the Obamarama. We had a good day finding gold, amethyst, chrystaline, rubies, peridot and various others.

Hope this holds us a few years.
